Friday and Saturday Updates

Friday night we headed over to the local high school football game for some Friday night lights. Our friend is a teacher there so we hung out on the field with a group of people and the kids got to run around and play. This was the last home game of the season and it was something to do on a Friday night. Plus, Max had a blast playing with the other kids.




On Saturday morning Max had a soccer game. He is getting better at playing. He's faster on the field now and he actually attempts to steal the ball away from the other team. It's always a joy to watch him play. It's still pretty warm here so he gets sweaty and doesn't like that very much.




Max also got his haircut on Saturday and now Andy does it. We just really never liked a haircut that Max has gotten from a salon. Andy does a great job at it and Max loves that daddy cuts his hair.


Last weekend we blew up balloons using vinegar and baking soda. Well on Saturday we blew up balloons using Pop Rocks and soda. We used Sprite and Diet Coke to see which one did a better job. Well, considering there was a hole in the balloon for the Diet Coke we decided that Sprite did a better job of blowing up the balloon with Pop Rocks.

After the balloon project Max wanted to do another project so we assembled a monster truck together and max painted it on Sunday and Monday. Max's favorite part was putting the giant wheels on the truck.
