Cubbies and the PJ Masks

On Saturday Andy, Grandpa T and Max went to the Cubs Spring Training Day. They had a lot of fun and when when they returned home we realized that we forgot to give Max some allergy medicine before he went and sat in the grass. This kid is allergic to grass and hay. Poor kid had red watery eyes for a while with lots of sneezes. We won't forget the allergy medicine for the next spring training game.

While they were at the game I got some things done around the house and just had some quality Jaimi time at home. Something I rarely get to do, so I enjoyed it very much.

On Sunday we took Max to see the PJ Masks live. We got him tickets for Christmas, so he's been pretty excited to go for a while. It was in downtown Phoenix and the theatre was filled with tons of little ones. It was a nice show and we had a great time as a family.

Here are some cute pics of Zoe. My favorite is the first one where I captured Zoe checking on Max during his bath on Sunday night. Talk about a precious picture taken between a boy and his dog.

Welcome Zoe

Last Friday we drove down to Tucson to pick up Zoe. When we arrived we noticed she grew...boy did she grow in three weeks. She's a big female Boxer baby. Even the breeder commented on how big she is for a female boxer. It looks like she might have dominated the food bowl over the past few weeks. It was a fun trip to Tucson. Max was super excited and couldn't wait to see her.

We took Zoe straight to the vet for her check up once we arrived back in Chandler. The vet, who is a Boxer lover/expert, also commented on her size. Apparently she might be a big dog.

We then spent the weekend playing with Zoe and we had tons of cuddle time. I think Max's favorite thing to do was cuddle with Zoe...besides carrying her around.

Zoe is a handful right now. She is your typical boxer puppy who is in to everything. She has tons of energy too. She's been trying to get Madison to play with her.

But Madison isn't having it.

Hopefully they will be best buds soon. I know Max and Zoe are best buds already.

We also had soccer this past weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day

Max was super excited to celebrate Valentine's Day because he says it's a day for love and he's celebrating Mommy and Daddy. That boy just melts my heart.

Again, I am very lucky that I am able to leave work in the middle of the day so I can attend Max's Valentine's Day party at his school. Max always lights up like a Christmas tree when I walk in and every time it makes my day. They sang a song, we decorated cookies and played games.

They took a class picture wearing their Valentine's glasses.

That night we celebrated as a family, just like Max wanted.

Soccer and Snow

It was a cold soccer morning on Saturday, but we managed to get through the cold with a blanket.

Following soccer, Max and I headed to Flagstaff to meet up with our friends for some fun in the snow. This is the benefit of having friends who have a second home in Flagstaff. It was a quick 24 hours with the moms and kids, but we had a great time. We took the kids tubing on Saturday afternoon at an organized tubing park. It was a balmy 30 degrees, but it was actually nice out. I never got cold once. The park was super packed that we only got 2 runs in because the lines were super long. The kids did get to play on the small hill with the orange tubes for a bit before we headed back to the house.

The morning was pretty cold at 13 degrees, but the kids didn't care. They played outside for a long time and didn't let the cold bother them. These desert kids just wanted to play in the snow and have a snowball fight.

We packed up and headed back to the Valley where it's much warmer. It was a fun 24 hours and it was nice to have some mommy and Max time for the two and a half hour drive.

Weekend Update

Max was battling a cold last week that then turned into an ear infection, so we tried to have a low key weekend. Even with a low key weekend Andy and I got out on Friday to the Open and the Bird's Nest to see Snoop Dogg. That was cool to go back to the '90s. Andy and I had a fun date day/night.

Due to Max's cold and ear infection we skipped his soccer game on Saturday to allow him to rest at home. BUT of course we played.

And played Jenga after everyone got their pajamas on.

We hit two super bowl parties this year. When asked who he wanted to win the Super Bowl, his response was "The Packers." Sooo cute, but sorry that was not even an option.

Max loves a good dance party. This boy loves to dance to Kids Bop. I am enjoying being his dance partner while he still wants to dance with his mommy.
