Wisconsin Part II

The second part of our trip was at grandma L's house and we started with presents, per Max's request.

Max has to play the didgeridoo every holiday.

It's fun to give Barb treats when she does a trick.

Uncle Ryan and aunt Emily came over for a very nice Christmas dinner and then some laughter.

On Monday grandma L and Max went to Dave & Busters to play games and then they had lunch together while Andy and I looked at flooring options and had lunch with Ryan and Emily. Yes, we plan to work with Ryan on the flooring in our house. He was a lot of help with all of the options they have.

Just goofing around.

New Year's Eve we went to lunch at the clubhouse and then Andy, Max and I went to grandpa T and grandma S's house for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day celebrations.

Wisconsin Part I

We spent the first part of our trip in Sun Prairie with my family. We started off Thursday morning opening presents.

We then popped champaign to have mimosas with our Christmas breakfast. Max is starting to get good at this.

We then did our annual tradition and went bowling. This was a request of Max's because he knows we do this every year.

His first strike!

Playing games with grandpa and grandma.

On Friday we spent the day tubing at Cascade Mountain. This was way more fun than I thought it was going to be. I was worried about the cold, but it wasn't too bad once I was bundled up. The conveyor belt was a nice touch because it took you to the top of the mountain and I am pretty sure Max wouldn't have lasted as long as he did if he had to walk all the way to the top every time.

On Saturday we had the Czarnezki Christmas and spent time with family.

Sunday morning came quickly and it was time to leave Sun Prairie and head to the west side of Madison to see Andy's family.

Merry Christmas

We had a very nice Christmas here in Arizona. We did not do a Christmas Eve movie this year since there was nothing out in the theater, so that was kind of disappointing. Instead we had fun at home. While we were playing I found a dead scorpion within Max's toys. Super creepy!

We made surf and turf for dinner which included kind crab legs and filet. This is everyone's favorite in this house. We ended with chocolate fondue and champaign.

Christmas morning came fast and Max was a very lucky boy this year. He got a lot of the items that he wished for and Santa brought his three gifts for under the tree.

We had a very nice relaxing Christmas day before we headed to the airport for Christmas dinner and a flight out to WI for the week so Max could see his grandparents.

They had some cute holiday decorations at the terminal.

Cookie the Elf

Well, Cookie came to visit us for the month to make sure Max was staying on Santa's nice list. He was found in some crazy places. Here is a summary of some of the different places Max woke to find Cookie.

He tied up Spiderman while Superman watched.

He finished making Max's snowman ornament.

Just hanging around in Max's stocking.

Who wants to fish for a shark?

Grave Digger needs some work.

Bubble baths are so relaxing.

Making a snowflake.

Cookie made Max a very unhealthy lunch for school.

Cookie encouraging Max to drink more water at school since he hasn't been so good at that lately.

Taco Tuesday!

Looks like the LEGO men taped up Cookie.

Lounging in a hammock.

Ziplining through the living room.

Just made a swing out of toilet paper.
