Fall Break: Part I

We traveled a long way with our "framily" to spend 10 days in St. Kitts for Fall break. First, we flew to Miami. We spent the night in the Miami airport and then flew out the next day to get to St. Kitts, after spending an hour on the airplane before take off.

We finally arrived!

It's not a big island, but it's an absolutely beautiful island. It was very humid though. So humid that we canceled the couple hiking adventures we were going to do. It would have been miserable hiking in that humidity. It's also an island that you spend with the locals which was pretty cool. There's also not that much to do on an island but relax, which is exactly what I needed.

We went out to a local fancy restaurant with views of the beach. My dinner was fantastic, but not everyone felt the same way about their dinner. I had the snapper and it was perfectly cooked and so good. It was so humid though that everyone was sweating and Andy said he was starting to not feel good.

We spent most days at the pool or beach all day with plenty of ting and stings flowing.

One night the kids went to hang out in the room and we went to the casino for adult time. At the casino Andy met a friend that he really did not like. You will have to ask him about that.

The next night we did dinner at another local restaurant and we were all sweating. Max ordered the lobster and steak. The island is known for its spine lobster and snapper. We are not big lobster fans but I will say the lobster in St. Kitts was actually really good.

Here's the view from our balcony. It was a beautiful view every morning to wake up to the ocean.
