On Friday night I went to Board & Brush with my ladies. This place is so fun to get out of the house, hang with the ladies, enjoy wine and create some fun pieces for the house.
While I was at Board & Brush, Andy took Max over to the local high school (a very short walk from our house) for the football game. According to Andy, Max had a blast. He was playing with his friend Evan. Andy gave me the below picture of the evening...the only picture he took. I wish he would have taken more, or at least one that is not blurry.
On Saturday, we took Max to see Paw Patrol Live. He was so excited for this. Max had a blast. I am not going to lie, as an adult, it was torture. Definitely not geared toward the above the age of five crowd. Not that I went there thinking otherwise. The most important thing is that Max had a blast. He was singing, smiling and waving his PP Pom Pom for the hour long show. He is still talking about it and says he wants to see it again.
Saturday night took us over to our friend's house for dinner. While we were there Max got to play with Evan. He just loves Evan. They had a blast together.
At one point they were working on their push-ups...too cute!
Then we did projects on Sunday. Thanks to Pinterest we started off making elephant toothpaste. We decided to do this in two different plastic containers to see which one would work the best...the bigger one or the smaller one. Max agreed that the smaller container (water bottle) was the best at making elephant toothpaste.
After the elephant toothpaste we got aggressive and decided to make our own homemade bouncey balls. Unfortunately this Pinterest activity did not work out so well. Our bouncey balls were more like bouncey blogs. Oh well, we had fun trying together.
