We started spring break off with a Cubs spring training game with Grandpa T.
Max, Andy and Grandpa T golfed nine holes one Sunday afternoon. Max absolutely loves doing this with Andy and Grandpa. He says he didn't play well, but he still had fun.
We went to Ostrich Fest one Saturday. We were supposed to take his buddy Grayson with us, but he cancelled last minute. That's ok, Max still had fun playing games, enjoying rides and watching a dog show.
I went on the tilt-a-whirl once with Max and that ended my carnival rides for life. I couldn't do the spinning in circles and it took me at least 30 minutes to get right again.
Of course we saw some Ostrich while we were there.
Max went to another Cubs spring training game with Andy, Grandma L, Grandpa T, Grandma S, Aunt Shelley and cousin Karley. I was having lunch with a marketing friend who was in town on vacation.
Max continues his golf lessons.
I took a half day off and met up with Max's friends at the Andretti racetrack. This place was pretty cool. Max and friends did two races on the tracks and then we spent about an hour in the arcade before we headed to lunch.
Max crashed on his electric scooter this past weekend and got banged up. Andy and I had to play doctor and clean him up. This picture is after we cleaned up the bloody mess.
We saw the Ghostbusters movie on Sunday and it was cute. Very nostalgic.
Spring break for Max is officially over and he heads back to school tomorrow for a three day week due to Friday being a holiday.
