On Thursday, June 28th, we loaded up the RV and hit the road.
It was a 17ish hour drive to Tetons and since we decided to drive through the night the kids were asleep for a big chunk of it. When they were awake they played on their iPads, play-doh and many road trip games.
The first hour of the trip the a/c wasn't working very well and that made for a very hot RV leaving Phoenix. It was so hot that the kids were overheating. We stopped at a gas station and chilled them off in the freezer.
The kids did great getting there. Way better than the adults. We were all tired and just antsy to get there.
After we arrived at the campground we checked out our site, took showers and headed to Jackson Hole for a western dinner complete with a covered wagon ride out to the dinner site.
After dinner we headed back to Teton to put the kids to bed and get some rest our selves because the next day was a planned white water rafting trip.
