Xmas in Wisconsin: Part I

The first three days of our WI Christmas were spent at my parents' house in Sun Prairie. We opened gifts and had Christmas breakfast.

Max then helped grandma V make monkey bread for the morning.

It wouldn't be a holiday in WI without bowling.

Grandpa J teaching Max how to play checkers.

They also enjoyed playing the card game Red Light Green Light.

We took Max ice skating for the first time. That was a treat! The first time around the rink took forever, but then Max started to get the hang of it and slowly got better. He was trying to walk on the ice versus sliding his feet. Grandpa J and I were trying to teach him.

Andy and I got out for a date night with friends on Friday night in downtown Madison.

Saturday morning it was time to say goodbye and head to the Westside to see the rest of Max's grandparents.
