Overall the big man was a good traveler. We started with some fun at the Phoenix airport watching the planes as we ate lunch and waited for our flight.
On the flight to Chicago he slept for one hour and the other two hours were spent watching a little Frozen, snacking and just trying to get comfortable for his nap. He was a little crabby during that time, but who can blame him. He also enjoyed the take off and watching the other planes on the runway. We did get lucky with a whole row to ourselves especially since we only paid for two seats. Jackpot!
Once we got to Chicago he thought it was pretty cool to watch the planes come in while we were getting our rental car. I was hoping he would sleep on the two hour car ride from Chicago to Madison, but that didn't happen.
After a weak of crazy busy running around the big man was exhausted (so were we) so he slept for almost the whole car ride from Madison to Chicago. This made for a very happy and energetic big man once we got to the airport. Thankfully he got out all of that energy in the airport because he was only awake for one hour of the 3.5 hour flight. It made the flight not so bad.
Overall he was a very good traveler. We even received comments again from other travelers on how well behaved he was. This mamma is very proud of him.
