Max had a game last week on Wednesday. This was another good game that was played on the actual diamond. Max loves when they play during the week and get to play on the actual field versus in the grass. I took a lot of videos this week of his hits and I wish I could upload them because he's doing awesome at baseball and I would love to share the videos. I have one video where he cranked the ball all the way to the outfield. It was pretty cool to see. If I remember correctly he had four hits and two runs on Wednesday night, but I could be wrong. So far he always hits the ball every time he is up to bat, but he doesn't always make it all the way around the bases.
On Friday night we introduced grandpa T to our favorite sushi restaurant. We got a lot of sushi and all of it was eaten except for one piece. I think grandpa was surprised at how much sushi Max can eat.
On Saturday morning Max had a game. He had four hits, three runs and got a kid out on third base. He was so excited to be able to get the kid out and it being the third out for that inning. He was so proud of himself too. We celebrated with a Chipotle lunch.
On Saturday afternoon we went over to grandpa's house to see uncle Ryan and aunt Emily since they are in town. Max got some swimming in and it was fun to see them for a few hours while they are here.
Sunday was a Max and mom day since Andy went golfing most of the day. We practiced our magic tricks and did some artwork together. During our time together I heard a noise and was wondering what it was. I started searching and found Sammy chewing on the bottom of my dining room table. You can imagine how mad I was. I am just glad I caught her when I did so there is very minimal damage.
On Monday night Max had another game. He was so excited to break his record and get five hits and four runs. He was thrilled to beat his record. I really wasn't aware that he's keeping track of his stats. It's just fun to see his excitement for the game and enjoy this time with his friends.
Here he's getting ready to bring it home for his fourth run.
Look at that face! He couldn't be more excited.
