On Valentine's Day Andy and Max gave me flowers that Max picked out himself. They also made me my favorite candy, peanut butter cups. They made them with dark chocolate and it was so good. They did a fantastic job.
We also gave Max a gift for V-Day. He was very excited. We all exchanged cards, hugs and kisses. We made a V-Day dinner at home with steak, seared scallops, baked potato and garlic broccoli. Some of Max's favorite things. It was a good day to spend with the ones you love.
On Tuesday, Max had his golf lesson and he asked me to go since I hadn't gone to one yet. I told Max that Andy said I couldn't see anything once he gets on the golf cart to go out on the course. He said that it doesn't matter and it just feels good to know that I am there. Awe...that made my heart melt so of course I made it happen and left work early to be there to support him. His face lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw me pull into the parking lot. He was very excited to see me there. It's true, I couldn't see anything. The kids get taken out far away and there is nothing to watch, but it didn't matter because Max knew I was there supporting him.
