Of course we started the weekend at the outlet mall and did a lot of damage.
On Saturday, we rented a limo all day that took us to four Temecula wineries for wine tasting...and buying.
Saturday was probably my favorite day of the weekend. It was filled with a lot of laughter and good times. Sometimes a mommy just needs a weekend away to reconnect with her girlfriends and I am happy that I have some who are willing to spend three days in the dessert with me.
While I was away Max and Andy had a fun boys weekend too. They went to the zoo. It was a little chilly for Max in the morning so he took a hoodie with him. It was probably 65 degrees out though.
Max had a game and his team got a medal from his coach. This weekend is his last game and his coach can't make it because he will be out of town for work, so he handed out the medals one week in advance. I was a little bummed I missed this and Max was soooo excited to show me his medal when I got home.
Saturday night Andy got together with Brian for dinner and football watching so the kids could play and tire each other out. That was a smart move on the boys part.
Another year down and another year of fun and laughter with my girlfriends. I loved the wine tasting more than the shopping and look forward to doing that again sometime...soon!
