Following Max and Tayler checking out their goodies that the Easter bunny brought them, we went outside for the Easter egg hunt.
Max had a great time finding all the plastic eggs that the Easter bunny left filled with quarters so he could feed his piggy. Honestly, this was almost an Easter bunny fail. At 11:30 the night before I was heading to bed when Tayler asked me if the eggs were filled and hidden in the backyard already. I replied with "Sh$t". I rounded up the Easter eggs and filled them with quarters and a couple dollar bills and went out into the backyard at midnight to "hide" the eggs. Phew! That was close.
Max had fun with one of his toys, the capsules you put in warm water and watch them "grow" into animal sponges. Thankfully, he thought this was pretty neat because Andy and I thought this was stupid. We both thought it was cool when we were young, but now, as adults, it's really dumb. Good thing it was not made for us though.
We had a ham dinner with our friends, Mike and AJ. Following dinner we spent some time playing cars outside on the ramp I concocted for Max.
We had a great Easter this year and holidays are so much more fun with a little one around. We hope you all enjoyed your Easter as much as we did.
