Happy Easter

We started the Easter celebrations on Friday night with egg decorating. Honestly, I didn't think Maxim would care so I only boiled a dozen eggs. I went into this assuming he would only do one egg and then I would do the rest. Andy was even thinking the same thing. We were wrong! He loved it and had so much fun, which then meant we had so much fun. He liked just throwing the eggs into the cups, which ended up splashing everywhere. Of course it was very messy, but the smile on Maxim's face made it all worth it.

On Saturday morning I set up an Easter egg hunt in the backyard. I used the dozen boiled eggs and six plastic eggs. The plastic eggs were filled with Disney Clubhouse characters. Maxim just had fun opening them once he realized he could.

Then this morning we started off Easter with a basket.

Once Maxim plowed through all the goodies we went to brunch with grandma L. It was a beautiful morning and a nice place for brunch at Cenral Bistro. Maxim has been teething (read not feeling well with a lot of drool and whining from the pain) so I really had no idea how it was going to go, but overall he held up prett well.

Maxim was so tired from all of the weekend festivities that he took two naps today (he doesn't know how lucky he is). We ended Easter with a nice ham with grandma L because she had flight issues that caused her to be in town for another night. We hope all of our family and friends also had a nice Easter.
