Wisconsin: Part 7

We spent the day picking apples at an orchard with grandma L. Max enjoyed this again. It was a different orchard and it was also very scenic and beautiful.

Following the orchard, we went to the park so Max could get rid of some of his energy before nap time. He dragged grandma L all over that park.

After an afternoon of playing hard we went to grandma S and grandpa T's house for dinner.

Wisconsin: Part 6

We spent this day with grandma L and we went to the zoo for the second time. This time around, Max got to see more animals at the zoo since he didn't see everything earlier in the week.

He also got to ride the train again with grandma L.

Of course he got to feed the goats again.

Drive the bus.

And, drive the tractor.

Wisconsin: Part 5

Max loves cows and he calls them moos, so it was perfect that we were in WI where you can find tons of cows. Max's great grandma made a couple phone calls so that we could visit a farm and max could see a black and white WI cow up close. This was a lot of fun for Max. He got to see moos up close and personal.

He kept pointing and saying "I like that one."

Following the cow adventure we went to pick apples. We were not sure how this would go over with Max, but he seemed to enjoy it. He had fun picking apples and putting them in grandma V's bag. He's always such a good little helper.

Here are a few pictures of Max at the park from earlier in the week. He loved the park and his favorite part was the fire engine where he would squeeze us all into the truck.

Following a much needed nap, we packed up our bags and headed to grandma S and grandpa T's house. Max had fun playing with new toys, especially the pop up tent and bowling pins.

I think the most fun he had was playing with shuffle board. He remembered this from Xmas. He wanted to go downstairs right away and play.

He also had fun playing with other toys like the K cup corral.

And the drums.

Wisconsin: Part 4

We started this day off visiting Max's great grandparents. He was being shy, but I told him that grandma would have cookies because she always has cookies. Since Max LOVES cookies this was a big hit and helped him break out of his shell...just a little bit.
BTW...Max picked out his own shirt at Target. He loved the truck on the front.

We also had tons of play time at grandma V and grandpa J's house.

A little ring around the rosey.

Max treated grandpa like a jungle gym.

Good thing grandpa could hang with this overly active toddler. I think Max kept grandpa on his toes.

Wisconsin: part 3

For the first time that week we went to the Madison zoo and we went with grandma V and grandpa J.

Max got to see his favorite zoo animal, the giraffe.

Max dragged grandma V on the kids train ride.

Of course Max fed the goats at the petting zoo.

We saw the Bears.

Following the zoo and nap time, we carved the pumpkins Max picked from the pumpkin patch the day before.

Max had fun seeing the pumpkins lit once it got dark outside.

This was a fun and busy day for Max. We kept him busy all day with the zoo and pumpkins. It was another day that ended with a very tired little boy.
