Decorating for Halloween

Grandpa TK and Grandma S arrived to town yesterday and they brought Max a gift from his Great Grandma N. Part of the gift was Halloween window clings and Max had fun decorating the back sliding door.

Thank you Great Grandma N! Max had fun putting these up.

Summing Up The Weekend

Our weekend can be summed up with a handful of pictures. 

Friday night dining alfresco at a packed family friendly pizza joint in the burbs. 

Kicking Saturday morning off with a fresh new haircut at Max's favorite place. 

Getting outside at the park for some play time before it heats up outside.

Getting in a good story from a book Max picked out at the bookstore. 

Having swim time with daddy before the pool is too cold. It's already too cold for me, but not for Max and daddy.

Weekend Update

We kept it low key this past weekend, but we sure did have fun even though I don't have many pictures to support this.

We went out to lunch at the Brewery in downtown Chandler.

We made a fort out of our new bed and read books in the fort while Max held the flashlight.

We also swam and had ice cream by the pool.

Weekends have been chill lately, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It's a time to spend with family and make memories.

Fun With Max

After working all day I look forward to getting home and seeing my family. The best part about the end of the day is just being silly and having a ton of fun with Max. I know he loves it too!

Camping 2016 Has Come to an End

We went camping with our friends for Labor Day weekend. We went up to the Rim on Friday morning and returned on Monday. It was a long weekend with no bathroom in the woods, but I managed to survive. Bathroom issue aside, it was a fun weekend with our friends enjoying the cooler weather.

Of course the boys hauled a TV, Dish, battery and generator into the woods so they did not miss football. It was nice to see the Badgers beat LSU on Saturday.

The guys took the kids fishing.

While the men and kids were gone it was an opportunity for me to lounge in the hammock watching reality TV. I mean, at this point I was living the dream. This made my camping weekend. I never get to do this anymore...sit around and watch crappy TV.

The kids enjoyed playing with bubbles.

Ella lost a tooth in the woods.

We all had a great time and watching Max play well with my friends kids just melted my heard all weekend long. It made the no-bathroom weekend enjoyable.

Weekend Update

Last weekend we kept busy by playing in water. Max had a great time with the sprinkler.

Then we moved to the pool.

Swimming is more fun when it ends with ice cream by the pool.

Andy had our TV installed outside so Max watched an episode of Paw Patrol after swimming.

Artwork with colored noodles is always a good time...when you are three.

And then some fire truck fun.
